My weekend was pretty awesome and I'm excited to share it with you!
Friday
Friday night Ryan and I tried a new recipe, Taco Stuffed Shells. We didn't have all the same ingredients on hand, but they still turned out pretty delicious! I'm excited to add another meal to the "approved as a good supper by Ryan (my hubby) list." After supper, we enjoyed a date on the couch watching The Dark Knight Rises, which was a good movie choice!
Saturday
Saturday morning was spent at my Grandma's doing our annual Christmas baking with my grandma, mom, aunt and sister! This is sweet enough to get it's own post, more to come tomorrow!
Saturday night, Ryan and I went to the Husker volleyball game, the regional finals in Omaha. The Huskers fought a tough Oregon team, but ended up losing in 4 sets. They had a great season, but I was still pretty sad that they won't be going to the Final Four next week. After the volleyball game, we used a BOGO coupon I had and ate at The Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill downtown. Our meals were amazing and put us both into food comas. We then met a couple of friends for drinks, cards, and karaoke.
My lovely hubby singing!
Getting ready for the game to start, GBR!
Sunday
Sunday morning started off with mass and then some laundry at our apartment. Sunday afternoon, we went to watch my brother's basketball game. They lost, but it was still fun to watch him and his Doane Tigers play. Sunday night we went over to have supper with my cousin, his wife and their 2 boys. We had some tasty lasagna and then visited and played with the boys. It was a good way to end the weekend!
Hope you all have a good week! Thanks for reading about my weekend!
