About Me

Here is what you need to know about me...

  • I'm a radiology tech at Bellevue Medical Center and I love my job because I get to work with an awesome group taking x-rays and do something different every day, all day. I've been working there since May 2010 after graduating from Clarkson College in Omaha.
  • I got married on May 26, 2012 to an amazing man named Ryan. He was my high school sweetheart and we tied the knot after dating for 6 1/2 years.

  • Ryan graduated with a degree in accounting and business and works for an accounting firm in Lincoln. I'm glad for this because he's really good with numbers and can keep all our financials in line!
  • We live in an apartment in Ashland, NE, which is right in the middle for both of us to commute to work. I am originally from the small town of Howells, NE.
  • I have 2 wonderful parents who are always there to look out for me and taught me to be who I am today. I have a younger sister, Mindi and a younger brother, Sam, who are both in college.
  • Here is my inspiration for my blog title:
    • Eat - I love to eat, and I do my best to cook good meals for my husband. Thanks to Pinterest for giving me simple, yet delicious recipes. I am a much better baker than cook, and I definitely have a sweet tooth!
    • Pray - My faith is really important to me, as our Lord has blessed me and my family so much. I am thankful every day for all He has done for me, but still need to work on more consistent prayer and trying to strengthen my relationship with Him, so I can reach the ultimate goal of eternal life with Christ.
    • Love - I love my husband, love my family, love my friends and love my life. I hope to share my experiences of this love in my blog.
    • Run - Since I graduated from high school, I've developed a love for running (at a relaxing pace, no record setting for this girl). Running is a great way for me to destress and also burn off some calories. When I started running, I would do a couple miles at a time and have built up my endurance since then. I have now run 6 half marathons and enjoy doing all kinds of fun runs.

  • That's all for now, if you want to know anything else, just let me know!

Also, cheers to Pinterest and the great many meals that have come from the endless, easy breezy recipes to be found and had!
